Hello Parents and Students Happy New Year 2012! Welcome back to School after the long holiday break. The 2012 CCLS Chinese New Year Celebration will be held on Sunday, Feb. 05, 2012. The time and place are listed below: When: Sunday, 02/05/2012, 1:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Door opens at 12:30 p.m. Where: Ashland Mindess School
90 Concord Street Ashland, MA 01721 In order for us to enjoy the celebration, please follow the rules below: a. No foods or drinks inside the auditorium.
b. Children under 6 years old must be supervised by adults at all time.
c. When the program is in session, please no running, walking, chatting, or standing in the hallway.
d. Videotaping or picture taking can only be done from the seat. No flash please. We will have seats reserved for the guests, event sponsors and all students. Please follow the signs to take the seats. Each class needs a couple of parent volunteers to help the teacher. Please let your child teacher know if you can help. Thanks a lot. In addition to our well-prepared performance, rewards will be presented to the following students during the event: a. The 4th and 7th graders for learning Chinese for 5 and 8 years
b. Teachers award for excellence in teaching
c. Scholarship award from the Board
...... Of course, we will also have our traditional raffle lottery drawing at the Celebration. The award includes restaurant gift certificates, popular store gift certificates , and more. The Raffle ticket can be purchased at office during our School day on 1/29, as well as before celebration starts on 2/05. $1.00 for one ticket, $5 for six tickets. The fund raised from raffle tickets will be used for our school activities. Please feel free to invite your friends, relatives, or neighbors to join our celebration. This is a good opportunity to show our school and Chinese culture to people and communities. All are welcome! We are looking forward to seeing you all in the celebration! Finally, please help to spread this to all our parents in case they do not receive the e-mail. Hello All CCLS Families Our annual family picnic is two weeks away. It will be on Saturday, August 27, 2011. Time: 11:00AM - 2:30PM
Place: Dean Park in Shrewsbury, MA
What to bring: 1 or 2 your favorite dishes; outdoor game sets or ball sets; and of course, your relatives, neighbors and friends - all are welcomed.
Activities: Chatting, Eating, Kids Games, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Soccer, Playing Card, etc. The school will provide the Silverware, Beverages, Watermelon, etc, and some oven fresh Pizzas for kids. CCLS 2011-2012 School Year Registration Starts on Sunday 6/5/2011Dear CCLS Parents,
As summer comes, the 2011-2012 CCLS school year will come to an end in 2 weeks. Today we are happy to announce that the registration for the 2011-2012 school year will start on Sunday 6/5/2011.
As usual, the registration will cover the complete 2011-2012 school year (includes Fall ’11 and Spring ’12 semesters). All tuitions and fees noted on the online registration web site, unless explicitly specified, are for the whole school year. If there are any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to speak to the school management team.
Early vs. Late RegistrationDepending upon the completion date (payment post mark date) of a particular registration, it may fall into one of three periods: early, regular, and late. There will be tuition discounts for early registrations and late fees for late ones. See the table below for detailed schedule.

For example, on 6/5/10, all prices on the registration web site include the early registration discount; on 7/1/2011, prices on registration site will change to regular prices. |
How to RegisterTo register, you are encouraged to use our online registration system. This requires a computer with Internet access and a web browser. We will set up a registration station on Sunday 6/5/2011 between 2-5pm for those who need help. To register online, please follow the steps below:
· Click Registration from the MAIN MENU on CCLS web site, you’ll be brought to CCLS online registration web site at prestostore.com.
· Before you proceed, please make sure you read the text on the Home and Registration Instruction pages.
· Now you can start adding classes one by one to your shopping cart, click Return to Store to order more classes, when you have done shopping, click Check Out and follow the instructions to complete your order - be extra careful when entering your email address since the order confirmation will be sent to the email address you entered.
· Print out your order page for your record.
· Finally please do not forget to mail your check (with your order number written down on it) to the payment address listed in the order sheet. Your registration is not complete until your payment is mailed.
Note: To those who want to register for any Ma Liping classes - Please register and pay by the end of August 2011, to ensure the students have the text books on the first day of school.
